Sina Hotel

My husband and I arrived in Lijiang in the late afternoon from Kuming. We were picked up by a taxi pre-arranged by ERI customer service officer Glenn. It took about 30 minutes for us to arrive at the airport. As the hotel is located in the old ancient city, no motor vehicles are allowed inside. So we had to move our belongings from the drop off point to the Club Emperor Hotel which took about 10 minutes.

The appearance of the hotel is like an old ancient style however the interior are modern and well furnished.

We managed to visit the Jade Dragon Snow mountain and we were in awe simply experiencing the beauty of the mountain itself! Although it was summer, we were still able to see the snow as we were 4000 over metres above sea level!

Thank you for making this trip an unforgettable experience for me and my hubby, Club Emperor!

Club Emperor Bali

My husband and I had a truly amazing time on our first trip to Bali. The villa we slept in was cosy and serene and the pool was really clean!

Just outside the villa, is this local cafe called “Warung Annah”. We really really love the food there! My husband had to have his fix of their local balinese dish spicy chicken with rice every day for lunch. It was hilariously annoying! We rented a scoopy each and we really enjoyed scooting around the area while casually stopping by the road side to shop if something catches our eye.

We had a massage by the beach by this place called “The nest beach spa”. Although it was a little costly, we were glad to pay as their staff was kind and friendly.

We spent the remaining couple of days just hanging out by the pool in the villas together with Club Emperor couple who had also arrived around the same time as us.

Overall, it was a splendid experience and would definitely love to come back when our schdule allows us to!

Cool! Autumn in South Korea generally fair, while orange and red colours wash the scenery with pretty hues. We & Koreans really enjoy the autumn foliage during the season with our tour guide, friends, families, & loved ones. I believe everyone will like autumn because of the background (yellow, red, purples colours). I am contented a honeymoon here!

Our Holiday In Bali

First, I would like to let you know that my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Bali. I had no idea shopping was so good and so fast ran out of money. What we hadn’t realized was that quite a lot of the restaurants didn’t accept credit cards.

The villa was pretty good though there were no duvets for my daughters on the first night. The staff were all very friendly and transport to and from the airport was provided by two cars so there was plenty of space. The Sunday we were there being Father’s day, my children bought for my husband a huge butterfly kite and I’ve sent you a photo of my husband with the kite and my daughter with a ship kite. Kite flying seems to be the popular sport in Bali. Thanks again for a wonderful holiday.

We’ve just been informed that my daughter will be graduating on 14th September so could you please check if accommodation will be available? If possible my daughter Tara and I would like to fly out to Sydney on 7th September and my husband and younger daughter Zoe will follow on Wednesday 12th. Returning, my husband and two daughters will fly back on Sunday 16th. I would like to fly to Brisbane on Sunday returning to Singapore on Thursday, 20th.

I don’t know if the above dates are workable but if you could work around them give or take a day or so that would be fine.

Trip To Bangkok

Hi Geena,

We would like to thank you for booking us into Grand Diamond Hotel at Bangkok. We had a good trip and we regret not bringing our kids as this hotel had cooking facilities and microwave too. Also, this location is good.

We are now looking at December schedule to bring our kids and maybe our in-laws too and we hope that you will assist to recommend such type of hotels. I will keep in touch with you nearer to the date. I will plan earl, no worries.

Fabulous Gold Coast Holidays

My main objective of writing this is to thank Grand Seasons International Pte Ltd for helping me to plan a fabulous Gold Coast holidays and to compliment their responsible and efficient services rendered.

I was fortunate to be invited to attend a seminar organized by Grand Seasons International Pte Ltd and I am glad that I signed up to be a member. As a new member, I was overwhelmed by the perks and promotional prices that I could get if I book my tour via Grand Seasons. Therefore, I made payment on the spot and decided to do some initial planning for my forthcoming Gold Coast trip.

Subsequently, I started to liaise with Emperor Resorts International, a subsidiary of Grand Seasons. I was introduced to Jasmine Lim, a responsible and friendly staff who helped me with the planning. As my work schedule was not confirmed, I had to ask her to help me find out the air ticket and accommodation prices for different dates. She was very prompt in her reply and she tried her very best to help me in bookings. In the midst of the planning, I had to bring forward the travel plans due to some work commitment. We had difficulty booking both accomodation and air tickets. However, she worked relentlessly and tried her very best to do all the booking. In the end, my travel mates and I (5 persons), are able to depart as scheduled and we booked Tiki Village International for our accommodation. She even settled our visas for us. I was awed by the service provided and I am sure I would not get this kind of excellent services from any tour provider in Singapore.

As the air ticket were booked at the very last minutes, the prices were rather steep. However, they are cheaper than the ones offered on the carrier website. My accommodations was Tiki Village International, a nice and cosy apartment with wonderful staff and facilities. There is a jacuzzi in my bathroom. The location was excellent, it is in the heart of Surfers Paradise. I got this accommodation at a mere S$499/- for a 8 days 7 nights stay. This is a super duper good bargain. The hotel tour desk provided excellent services as well. I planned the entire schedule for the trip with the tour desk staff, Belinda Gray. We communicated via email and she not only helped us with the bookings, she even provided us with many suggestion to make our trip more enjoyable and more memorable. The tour activities were well planned before I reached Gold Coast.

Holidaying had never been made so easy and so convenient for me. It is not only cheaper, it is also better. I got to visit places that are not available to tour booked in Singapore. The most important thing to me is the sense of achievement and satisfaction when my travel mates are full of praises for the excellent tour programs and accommodation. I returned on 2nd June 2007 and I have already started planning for year end holidays. I can see foresee more people are coming with me the next time round.

Holiday in Yunnan, China from Feb to Mar 2007

It was on 22nd feb 2007 that my life partner and me made our way to Yunnan, China. To top that, the staff especially Laura Tan was exceptionally helpful in trying to accommodate to our requests on the Accommodation.

“kudos” to Laura as our trip there was greeted with fantastic moments although it was li ke DIY thing but was totally relaxed without having to hassle ourselves. From Kunming to Lijiang and then to Dali, saw many happy moments and learning experiences to learn culture very different from ours back here. Added with knowledge of Mandrain (although it was kind of weird in accent of mainland Chinese), rather acceptable in our stand in communications. By the time we got back after spending 20 even days in China, memories were left to be captured in our video and pics. And here now, reeling to go back there but this time, on a different season, as some places, like Lijiang was really freezing that resulted in some cold burns on our skin. But then, the happy moments stamped down that “pain” feeling. Cheers to Grand Seasons and its affiliated companies.
